In November, Year 13 were lucky enough to welcome former St James pupil, Bella Franks, to speak during our annual dinner. Bella was brilliant: telling us about her fascinating career in the arts and how she now does what she loves. She spoke about her journey following her passion for art, event organisation and philanthropy. It was wonderful to hear from somebody who was so happy with their career and I can speak for everyone when I say it was a very inspiring evening. Personally, I was particularly taken with the life drawing and music events that Bella runs regularly, as art is something that I hope to pursue in the future. We were also all very impressed with her charity work, running The Contact Collective: Young Philanthropic Network. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
